Dr. Schneider and his wife Jewel enjoy their blended family of six daughters. He enjoys gardening, exercising, cooking and reading with his family.
Biography: Dr. Schneider’s clinical interests include a broad range of general surgery: hernia repair, minimally invasive surgery for gallbladder disease, breast cancer, disorders and cancers of the GI tract including upper and lower endoscopy, venous insufficiency including the Venefit procedure. He also has an interest in wound management and the use of Hyperbaric Oxygen. Dr. Schneider graduated from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University, Winston Salem, NC with a Doctorate of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency, and general surgery residency at Keesler Medical Center at Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, MS and a general thoracic surgery fellowship at the Biloxi Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Schneider served in the United States Air Force.
