Recognized for health care marketing excellence

Amery Hospital & Clinic was honored for marketing excellence, earning three awards from two national competitions. With the addition of these awards, ARMC has received 37 national awards for marketing excellence since 2004.

Honored for excellence in advertising in the 2015 Aster Awards and the 32nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, Amery Hospital & Clinic received two gold recognitions in this year’s competition. The facility was named a national winner for the following:

  • GOLD award – radio, Hypochondriac
  • Two (2) GOLD awards – health promotion, Fitness Center – Yoga handout series
The Aster Awards, one of the largest national competitions of its kind, is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images while the 32nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition.

The Aster Awards received roughly 3,000 entries and the Healthcare Advertising awards received over 3,500. All entries are judged by industry experts and are scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 100 total points. Participant’s entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their category.

Awards were issued for entries that received top marks from judges. AHC placed in the top 5% of the nation with the gold awards. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

“The creativity of this year’s participating healthcare marketing professionals exceeded our expectations. The 2015 Aster Awards program contained some of the best and most creative advertising in the world,” said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator.
