Help us make health care better in our community

11/30/2015

Amery Hospital & Clinic is forming a patient and family advisory group to obtain a better understanding of the patient care needs and perceptions of the care they receive at Amery Hospital & Clinic and at locations in Clear Lake, Luck and Turtle Lake.

Translating feedback to the our community

Our goal is to bring feedback from the group and use it to assess what we do and where we want to go in the future, so we can provide an exceptional experience and high quality care at an affordable cost. The advisory group would have patients and family members become a part of the conversation; this helps bring best practices in medical care to the local community in ways that work for the patient and their caregivers.

Searching for participants

We are asking for 10-12 volunteers who will be willing to commit to attending four to six meetings for one year.  The hospital will be asking for diversified participants from the Amery, Clear Lake, Luck, Turtle Lake and surrounding communities in varied age ranges who have used Amery Hospital & Clinic services. Meetings will include a meal provided by facility.

The group will collaborate on a wide range of issues that affect patients, potentially including registration and discharge processes or location and time accessibility. Agendas and meeting minutes will be reviewed at each meeting as well as reviewed by physicians and leadership at the hospital insure your thoughts and perspectives are shared.

If you are interested in being a part of our advisory group, please call Joanne Jackson at 715-268-0303 or Joy Keller at 715-268-0211.

Accepting applications through December 31, 2015.
