ARMC recognized for marketing excellence

Honored for excellence in advertising in the 2013 Aster Awards, Amery Regional Medical Center received a gold and silver recognition in this year’s competition. ARMC was named a national winner for the following:

  • GOLD award – newsletter series, Health Happenings
  • SILVER award – website advertisement, Trouble Breathing Lately
The Aster Awards, one of the largest national competitions of its kind, is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine and Creative Images, Inc. This elite program recognized outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts for the calendar year 2012.

The 2013 Aster Awards received roughly 3,000 entries from across the United States as well as Canada and South America. All entries are judged by industry experts and are scored on multiple criteria with a possibility of 100 total points. Participant’s entries competed against similar-sized organizations in their category.

Awards were issued for entries that received top marks from judges placing them in the top 16% of the nation for advertising excellence. ARMC placed in the top 5% of the nation with the gold award and the top 12% with the silver. Judging criteria included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.

“The talent of this year’s healthcare marketing professionals continues to be at an all-time high. The 2013 Aster Awards program contained some of the best advertising arguably in the world. The judge’s expectations were again surpassed,” said Melinda Lucas, Aster Awards Program Coordinator.

All winners are posted on the Aster Awards website (www.AsterAwards.com), as well as published in Marketing Healthcare Today, a national healthcare marketing magazine.

Winners were also announced in the Thirtieth Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. About 4,000 entries were received in this year’s competition, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition.

A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. The judges recognized Amery Regional medical Center with a BRONZE award for “Trouble Breathing Lately” in the category of website advertising.
