Amery Hospital & Clinic golf event takes place throughout September to raise funds for COVID-19 relief
August 5, 2020
Amery Hospital & Clinic Foundation’s annual golf outing this year is taking social distancing to the extreme: spreading the event throughout September to keep players at a safe distance and have fun to support the hospital and clinic’s COVID-19 relief fund.
The foundation’s 32nd Golf Classic With Social Distancing takes place Sept. 8-29 at Amery Golf Club. Instead of just one day and one shotgun start, teams can choose a Monday, Tuesday or Friday Sept. 8-29 at a tee time that works for them.
Proceeds go to the hospital’s COVID-19 relief fund, to help purchase equipment and supplies to serve patients and families, and for future support for our health care workers.
The event is a best ball scramble. Cost is $100 per player and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart for four (or, if players prefer, individual carts for social distancing), pizza and a goodie bag.
Registration is now open: Sign up at amerymedicalcenter.org/Golf or call Diane McNeil at 715-268-0303.
