Vascular Surgery
A Vascular Surgeon has received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of both common and uncommon vascular disorders, except that of the heart and brain. Vascular surgery involves diseases of the vascular system, or arteries and veins like peripheral arterial disease, acute and chronic vanous diseases, and lymphatic disease. The most common problem vascular surgeons treat is hardening of the arteries or atherosclerosis.
