 | Anders E. Ulland, MD
Dr. Ulland is new to Amery, but his experience caring for the special surgical needs of his patients spans the globe.
Dr. Ulland is a board certified general surgeon through the American Board of Surgery. He is licensed in the state of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Dr. Ulland received his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University in Minnesota and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, which is where he served his internship and residency in surgery.
As part of his training, he conducted research into the basic science of wound healing. His work in this field has been published in scientific journals and he had presented it at surgical meetings in Chicago, Minneapolis, San Francisco, and Amsterdam.
Dr. Ulland’s clinical interests include a broad range of general surgical problems such as hernia, gallbladder disease, breast cancer, and disorders of the GI tract. He has a special interest in GERD and laparoscopic colon surgery.
