Jeff Nasman, PT, OCS, SCS, CSCS
Director of Rehab Services & The Fitness Center


Jeff has been an avid exercise enthusiast for over 20 years.
He has been involved with training high school athletes as
well as younger athletes for the past six years.


Jeff's credentials include:
  • Fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic & Manual Physical Therapists
  • Sports Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2004
  • Orthopedic Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 1999
  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association in 1996
  • Master of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University in 1993
  • Over 10 years experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in Orthopedics and 5 years as a Physical Therapist in Sports
  • Ten years experience as a Personal Trainer


Jennifer Atkins, Fitness Center Assistant
My husband Dan and I have two children, 3 year old daughter and 2 year son. I was employed for five years as an aquatic and fitness aide and one year with individuals with disabilities. I am certified through the Arthritis Foundation and have taught many aquatic and land based classes. I am currently a student at Globe College where I am studying Health and Exercise Science. It brings joy to my life to help other achieve health and wellness. I believe I have found a perfect match working at The Fitness Center.



Valerie Berget, Fitness Center Assistant
I attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior and received a Bachelors Degree in Corporate and Community Health Promotion with a minor in Athletic Training. While in school, I had the opportunity to pursue my professional goals in many valuable events like helping at the Badger State games, working with the Duluth Lumberjacks indoor football team, working with the Division III cross country championships and the Division III Men’s Hockey Championships.  After leaving school, I received an opportunity to pursue my professional career in Athletic Training at Park Avenue Therapies in Cloquet, MN.  While there, I worked with Cloquet High School athletes and was able to experience many State Tournament appearances in girls soccer, girls hockey, boys hockey, and girls softball.



Aaron Johnson, CSCS, Fitness Center Assistant/Personal Trainer
Graduate: University of Wisconsin - Stout
Major: Early Childhood Education
Minor: Business Administration
Four Year Letterman: Stout Football Team
NSCA Certified Personal Trainer
Enjoys: Reading and Working Out



Nicole Marlett, NCTMB, Fitness Center Assistant/Massage Therapist
Nicole is the Massage Therapist and also a Fitness Assistant at The Fitness Center.  She graduated from the St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts in Hudson, WI in February 2005 and is certified in Swedish, Acupressure, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Reflexology, Pregnancy, Sports, Watsu and Aromatherapy.  She recently passed her National Boards of Massage Therapy and is applying for her State Licensure.  Her hobbies include biking, swimming, camping, and four-wheeling.  She enjoys helping people and being active and feels that by working here she can accomplish both of these goals



Kristi Niles, Fitness Center Assistant
  • Mother of three: 5 year old daughter, 3 year old son, and 9 month daughter
  • Undergraduate Degree in Exercise Science
  • Attending University of Wisconsin - River Falls for Masters in Elementary Education
  • Exercise and fitness has always been important to me, so being able to work at The Fitness Center is perfect
  • Hobbies: Reading, scrap booking, swimming with the kids, and running when I have time
