I attended the University of Wisconsin-Superior and received a Bachelors Degree in Corporate and Community Health Promotion with a minor in Athletic Training. While in school, I had the opportunity to pursue my professional goals in many valuable events like helping at the Badger State games, working with the Duluth Lumberjacks indoor football team, working with the Division III cross country championships and the Division III Men’s Hockey Championships. After leaving school, I received an opportunity to pursue my professional career in Athletic Training at Park Avenue Therapies in Cloquet, MN. While there, I worked with Cloquet High School athletes and was able to experience many State Tournament appearances in girls soccer, girls hockey, boys hockey, and girls softball.
Rachel Hoverman, Fitness Center Assistant & SilverSneakers® Senior Advisor
I graduated from UW-River Falls in December 2007 with a degree in Exercise Science and minors in Spanish and Outdoor Education. I am the SilverSneakers Senior Advisor at the Fitness Center and very much enjoy working with our older adults. I believe that exercise should be functional and fun so that we are all able to live happier longer.
Originally from Osceola, I now live just outside of Dresser on my grandparents’ farm. As of August 2009 I will be married, and together Nathan and I enjoy cooking, fishing, four-wheeling, and spending time with our families. I also love reading, hiking, and scrapbooking.
