Examination
Chiropractors are well known for examining the alignment and structure of the spine. This however, is only a small part of a more thorough examination which includes:
  • Neurological examination
  • Muscle imbalance – tight and /or weak muscles
  • Flexibility
  • Dysfunctional movement patterns (faulty habits your brain has of contracting improper muscles for particular movements).

X-rays
only when needed-most patients do not need x-rays

Other advanced imaging studies
can be performed for patients who have serious injuries or are not responding well to treatment. These may include:
  • MRI
  • CT
  • Myelogram
  • Bone Scan
  • MRA
