This group will meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month 6-7pm beginning October 13, 2010 at Amery Regional Medical Center. An ongoing group that is open to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one (parent, child, sibling, grandparent, friend, spouse, etc). Each group includes a short presentation on a specific topic associated to grief (15-20 minutes), followed by an open discussion. Potential topics include: the tasks of grief, grief and the holidays, self care, common emotions/behaviors when grieving, complicated grief, maintaining hope while grieving, etc. Facilitated by ARMC Social Services.
