Local doctor delivers customized wheelchair to paralyzed Costa Rican boy

A recently paralyzed 9-year-old boy from Costa Rica will receive a new, customized wheelchair from Amery Regional Medical Center next week

Dr. Anthony Hall, Chiropractor for ARMC will travel to Costa Rica this week and join Dr. Thomas Davis of the Christian Foundation for Youth and Aged to personally deliver the wheelchair.

Not long ago, the young recipient of the wheelchair was diagnosed with a massive spinal tumor requiring difficult surgery, which left him paralyzed. Doctors are hoping the small, tailored wheelchair will evenly support the boy as he recovers.
